SUMMARY:Soil Testing Interpretation Workshop
DESCRIPTION:You’re invited to a soil interpretation workshop with Helen Burns & Jason Condon\, who will discuss local soil constraints and offer management strategies to improve your production outcomes. This workshop is part of our soil testing project where 16 properties have been investigated for production limitations and issues. \nTopics covered in the workshop include; local soil constraints & how to manage\, Decipher Ag – a free online soil management portal\, sampling stratification – what’s it telling us?\, soil pits – compare good & poor performing sites \nJason Condon – Agronomist and Associate Professor in Soil Science. Extensive experience in soil research\, particularly acid soils\, salinity\, and nutrient cycling. Jason focuses on practical\, real-world soil issues\, translating agronomically relevant soil processes and improving the understanding of soil health with a strong emphasis on linking research to on-farm practice change. \nHelen Burns – Former NSW DPI soil scientist and agronomist specialising in research\, development\, and extension in mixed farming systems in NSW. Working closely with producers and producer groups Including field investigations of acid soils and nutrient responses\, with a strong focus on improving soil fertility and practical farm productivity in both pasture and grain production systems. \nDig deeper into your soil and grow better outcomes!\nPlease RSVP for catering purposes by Tuesday July 21 to amy@littleriverlandcare.com.au or call 0402933406
